Athletic are moving forward with the very latest technology after striking up a lucrative partnership with technology firm eSource.

Headed by Latics fanatic Peter Walker, the Newbury-based outfit have agreed a long-term deal to become the new sponsors of the club's popular website, oldhamathletic.co.uk.

In return, eSource's expert engineers have installed a brand-new server set-up at Boundary Park, using the very latest technology and incorporating a comprehensive support package.

Under the terms of the deal, eSource have also become the club's official team travel sponsors, in addition to expanding other areas of their existing sponsorship portfolio.

Reacting to the deal, Oldham Athletic's chief executive, Alan Hardy, said:

"I am delighted we have tied up this deal with eSource.

"The equipment and technological know-how they have provided is second to none and will really help the club to move forward.

"eSource and their engineers have been fantastic during the installation process, to the extent that we did not experience any disruption to our business operations.
