Manager John Sheridan has been boosted by the return of Lee Hughes ahead of this weekend's action.

The striker, 32, sat out the 2-2 FA Cup draw at Cheltenham after collecting his fifth yellow card of the season during the previous week's game against Yeovil.

Hughes' return is well-timed as fellow frontman Brett Ormerod is out for 4-6 weeks with a broken toe and has returned to parent club Preston North End for treatment.

Lewis Alessandra and Deane Smalley teamed up in attack at Whaddon Road in Hughes' absence.

Elsewhere Matty Wolfenden continues to struggle with a knee problem and missed out on Saturday's game.  He will receive further treatment this week.
