Latics defender Neal Eardley has been selected in the full Wales squad for next week's friendly against Denmark in Copenhagen.

John Toshack's side will take on the Danes a week on Wednesday (November 19), meaning Eardley will miss the FA Cup First Round Replay against Cheltenham Town.

Eardley has been on duty with the U21 side of late, but the 20-year-old's performances have propelled him back into the senior reckoning.

The defender played a big role in the latter stages of the Red Dragons' Euro 2008 qualifying campaign and will be hoping to add to his tally of full caps next week.
