The Football League have confirmed that referee Paul Taylor will take charge of Athletic's game at Northampton Town tomorrow.

The Hertfordshire-based official has refereed nine games so far this season, including Latics' 2-2 draw at Colchester United back in August.

He has shown 32 yellow cards and three reds so far this season, including the dismissal of Norwich City's Darel Russell in their 2-2 draw with Preston last weekend.

Taylor officiated 41 games in 2007/08, notching up a record of 104 yellow cards and 10 reds.  He refereed Latics' 2-1 defeat to Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium.
