Oldham Athletic fans are onto a winner after the club's latest link-up with club sponsors JD Sports.

The UK's leading sports fashion retailer has signed an exciting new deal which will give Latics TeamCard holders the opportunity to make watching Latics even cheaper.

TeamCard points will be awarded on all purchases in their two Oldham stores - in the town centre Spindles Shopping Centre and at the Central Retail Park on Broadway, just across the way from Boundary Park.

The latest agreement could not have been better timed with Christmas - traditionally the busiest shopping period of the year - just around the corner.

Latics and JD Sports teamed up last August when JD became the club's main sponsor and the partnership has since gone from strength to strength.

This latest initiative will not only be of benefit to fans, it also, at the same time, helps the club.

Fresh in-store are new collections from top names that you simply won't find anywhere else but JD like McKenzie and Brookhaven.

There are also exclusive lines from Nike, Adidas, Lacoste and Converse, and for juniors there's the latest range of football and street-inspired gear from Carbrini.

JD Sports is the latest major retailer to join the points bonanza, giving supporters the chance of much wider shopping options.

Latics chief executive Alan Hardy said:

"Latics TeamCard is proving really popular and we are getting more and more of the big retailers all the time.

"JD Sports' involvement, with their two local stores, is a fabulous boost for fans.

"I would encourage everyone to use their card as much as possible to help lower the cost of supporting the club."

Supporters can redeem their points in the Club Shop as well as at the ticket office for season tickets and matchday tickets.

Online shopping with Latics TeamCard is also available at almost 400 other online retail partners.

Online shopping is available from the likes of e-bay, play.com (games), cdwow.com, Dell (computers) and game.co.uk, plus hundreds more partners, making it the ideal and simple way to shop and be rewarded.
