ANDY'S SYMPATHY FOR CROCKED SMALLEY
Andy Liddell may have scored the winner at Northampton, but his first thought post-match was for injured team-mate Deane Smalley.
Liddell started the game on the bench but was called into action after just eight minutes when youngster Smalley went down with a hip problem.

The veteran went on to bag what turned out to be the decisive goal from the spot after Town's Jason Crowe tripped Lee Hughes in the box.
But Liddell's after-match thoughts turned immediately to the plight of his crocked colleague.
"We played quite well and obviously it's nice to score, but it's a shame that Deane got injuured after playing for only a few minutes," he said.
"He's a good player who has been playing really well, and then he gets clattered on his first run.
"But it was nice to get on and contribute. I think we were the best team on the day against a team who were unbeaten at home.
"It was like the Alamo at the end, but we deserved the result because we dictated the play for long spells, especially in the second half.
"Kev [Maher] and Mark [Allott] got on the ball and were feeding Chris Taylor a lot of the time. This is a really, really good win against a strong and powerful team."
And after Taylor's goal at Cheltenham last week, there was no way the winger was getting the ball of Latics' regular spot-kick king.
"Chris isn't brave enough, especially after last week when he played a rebound," Liddell joked. "That was probably the worst penalty I've ever seen, and anyway I'm the penalty taker!"
Smalley's injury isn't thought to be too serious, but keep checking oldhamathletic.co.uk on Monday for more news from the treatment room.
