Football League clubs have until midnight Thursday to complete any further loan moves before the transfer window slams shut for good.

After the deadline, managers will not be able to make any further loan signings until the window re-opens on January 1 for both loan and permanent transfers.

However, existing loan deals can be extended - meaning Latics chief John Sheridan could attempt to extend Darren Byfield's deal, which is due to expire in mid-December.
