Latics fans are in for a 'credit crunching Christmas bonus' with adult admission prices for the Leyton Orient game on the 20 December reduced to just £10 plus - BUY ONE GET ONE FREE.

Yes, that means that two adults can watch the game for just £10.

This special offer is unfortunately not available for on-line purchase and is only available from the Latics Ticket Office.

Admission prices for under 16's and over 65's have also been slashed to just £2 each when purchased before the day of the game.

Latics' chief executive Alan Hardy said: "At these prices we hope to fill the home section of the stadium pretty quickly.

With capacity for home fans at just over 8,000 we expect to sell out the tickets before the day of the game so we advise fans to get their tickets as soon as possible."

These 'credit crunching prices' mean that a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children under 16) can watch the match for just £14 if they buy their tickets in advance.

Alan added "We would like to think that we will sell out before the day of the game but if by any chance we do have any spare capacity the match day admission price will be £10 each for adults and £5 each for under 16 and over 65's.

"So the message is - buy your tickets early."

Tickets are now on sale but, until Wednesday, December 3, preference is being given to those fans that hold the two vouchers from the recent Scunthorpe and Yeovil games.

Tickets will then be on general sale from Thursday, December 4.

Mr Hardy continued: "We realise that many people have been affected by the world financial crisis and we are trying to help everyone at a time when family finances are always stretched.

"We hope we are still challenging for an automatic promotion spot when we play Leyton Orient and a big attendance will also encourage the team to do even better."
