Tomorrow's home game against Bristol Rovers could be under threat after Arctic conditions swept the UK last night.

Around three inches of snow fell in the Boundary Park area with forecasts suggesting that more could be set to follow today.

Groundstaff were unable to cover the pitch following Saturday's game against Swindon due to high winds and were also frustrated in their efforts to do so yesterday.

Therefore the pitch is affected by snow, as are all stadium approaches.  Chief executive Alan Hardy is adopting a 'wait and see' approach.

"We are in the hands of the weather," he explained.  "Some forecasts suggest a thaw tomorrow while others say the snow is here to stay.

"I will be speaking to Bristol Rovers and the match referee [Colin Webster] today, and it could be that we make a decision on the game early tomorrow."
