The BIG VOTE 09 is now on as oldhamathletic.co.uk asks Latics fans everywhere to vote for their 2008/09 favourites in three vital categories.

We want to know your Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year and Goal of the Season, with the winners set to be honoured at the Awards Dinner at Smokies' Park on Tuesday, April 28.

Online voting is open now.  To cast your vote, email bigvote09@oldhamathletic.co.uk before 5pm on Monday, April 20.  Be sure to follow the voting guidelines below to make sure your vote counts.

Player of the Year: Only players who have made 20 or more appearances in all competitions are eligible for this award.  'Appearances' are as defined by Press Association statistics.

Goal of the Season: Voters can vote for any goal scored by any player during the 2008/09 season, in any competition (excluding friendlies).

Young Player of the Season: Players aged 21 or under on April 29, 2009 are eligible for this award.  There is no minimum appearance requirement in this category.

General Voting rules: Multiple votes from the same email address or individual will not be accepted.  All emails MUST contain the category, vote and the voter's name in the body text.  Please include the voting category in the header of your email.  If voting in two or more categories, please send seperate emails.  Any votes which do not conform to these guidelines will be disregarded.  The editors' decision is final.  In the event of a tie in any category, the casting vote will lie with Oldham Athletic's Manager, Joe Royle.
