Athletic are 13th favourites to win promotion from League One this season, according to official betting partners bet365.

Odds of 9/1 on promotion rank Dave Penney's side right in the middle of the pack, with Leeds (5/6) currently favourites and both Norwich and Charlton (9/4 and 11/4 respectively) close behind.

The 10-point penalty imposed on Southampton seems to have harmed the bookies' confidence in the Saints' success, pushing their odds out to 7/1.

Leeds' fellow play-off losers MK Dons and Millwall are priced at 3/1 and 7/2 respectively to bounce back with promotion.  Cash-rich Huddersfield and Brighton are also well fancied at 7/2 apiece.

At the other end of the scale, bet365 have Stockport County down as favourites for relegation with promotion odds of 28/1.

Yeovil (25/1), Hartlepool, Exeter and Leyton Orient (all 16/1) will also be out to prove the bookies wrong and upset some of League One's big boys over the course of what's sure to be an interesting season.
