'92 IN BLUE' NEED YOU TODAY!
The eight Latics fans behind the '92 in Blue' appeal are asking Latics fans everywhere to get behind their bid to raise £2,500 for the Samantha Jones Trust.
The Trust was set up by Latics steward Keith Jones after his daughter died of leukaemia - and the lads hope to boost their coffers with a hairbrain football scheme.
They are aiming to visit all 92 Football and Premier League grounds within a 92-hour time limit, but have set a target of 78 hours to beat the current record.
Fans wishing to make a donation can visit their Justgiving page by clicking here or navigating to www.justgiving.com/92inblue.
They will also be raising awareness of the threat of skin cancer during the summer months.
The fans will take the famous 'Ernie Flag' with them - created in memory of former Latics star Ernie Cooksey, who died of malignant melanoma last summer.
And they hope to collect a child-friendly souvenir from each club which will be donated to the new childrens' hospital in Manchester - now the largest childrens' hospital in the world.
Anyone wishing to pledge other help should contact Richard Attwood at richard.attwood@marshalls.co.uk, or via telephone on 07590 696973.
