LATICS ARE SUITED AND BOOTED
The tailors are descending on Boundary Park later today as manager Dave Penney puts the latest element of his plan into place.
The Latics chief has stipulated that every professional player must be issued with a special club suit ahead of the new season.
And they will all be measured up this afternoon following another tough double training session.
All players must wear this suit before and after every home game - although they will continue to wear tracksuits for away trips.
The new look will be teamed with a re-designed club tie with fines levied on any player who breaks the dress code.
"I want a team that looks smart and plays smart," says Penney. "We are looking forward to seeing how the suits look."
Penney continues to push the squad hard on the training ground following yesterday's 3000-metre run and fitness work.
The coaching staff are expected to focus more on ball work today as temperatures continue to soar across the country.
