Latics youngster Liam Dawson has extended hi stay with Nantwich for a further month after impressing Dabbers boss Peter Hall.

Dawson has featured several times for Nantwich, including a stellar performance against Hyde United in the Cheshire Senior Cup where he created two goals, hit the bar with a 25 yard free kick and fired just wide with another long range effort.

Dawson's faced two former Latics' men in the game, with both David and Scott McNiven featuring for the Tigers.

Dawson is now scheduled to return to Boundary Park on December 14th and Latics boss Dave Penney is hopeful that he can build on the already invaluable experience he has gained at Town.
