Watch out for the Latics players featuring on Soccer AM's 'Crossbar Challenge' in the next couple of weeks.

Sky Sports were today at Latics' Chapel Road training ground to film the players attempting to hit the crossbar from the half-way line.

Rocket, who hosts the feature on the show, says he has enormous fun when visiting clubs for the Crossbar Challenge and Academy Skills competitions  with players often dressing up and performing amusing stunts, though some are x-rated and can never be broadcast.

He added that he never ceases to be amazed by the skills of the Academy boys.

Rocket said: "Some of the Academy boys live for skills and are more like freestyle footballers with the tricks and stunts they perform.

"We often find Academy boys at lower-league clubs are better at skills than those at Premier League clubs who may be better footballers, but they don't have the skills you would expect.

"I have always been impressed with the lads at Rochdale who always have a lot in the locker skills wise."
