Latics and Exeter both have cause to celebrate as this is the 20th anniversary of a notable triumph for each club.

Latics will mark reaching the final of the Littlewoods Cup in 1990 with a reunion dinner at the Queen Elizabeth Hall on Wednesday, April 28th.

Exeter, meanwhile, are celebrating the 20th anniversary of winning the Fourth Division championship, the only title the Grecians have ever captured.

And during the half-time interval of the match against Latics on Saturday was a parade of players from that successful side who had gathered to celebrate the greatest achievement in the Exeter's history.
