PRICE RETURNS TO MILLWALL

Posted on: Tue 09 Mar 2010

Due to one or two complications Latics have decided not to extend the loan of Jason Price for a second month.

The 32-year-old striker, whose initial month ended after Saturday's draw at Exeter, has returned to Millwall.

Latics last week brought in striker Daniel Nardiello on loan from Blackpool and manager Dave Penney will now be looking to strengthen his side in other areas.

Penney will again be without Keigan Parker and Alex Marrow, who both missed the trip to Devon through injury and illness respectively, for tonight's home league match against Leyton Orient.

Parker has a groin strain while Marrow is suffering from a bug which has also affected Sean Gregan, Paul Black and Danny Whitaker in the last couple of weeks.

The Latics manager is optimistic both players could be back for Saturday's basement battle against Wycombe at Boundary Park.
