Jim Goodwin has suffered an injury setback as he bids to overcome a thigh-muscle strain.

The player, who is on loan with Latics from Huddersfield, had hoped to return in Saturday's Coca-Cola League One match against Wycombe at Boundary Park.

Goodwin, who has missed the last five matches, resumed full training yesterday only for the problem to resurface.
