Matthew Tipton has been appointed manager of the Latics fans' team for their match at Boundary Park on Monday, May 10th.

The former Latics striker, who is now playing for Macclesfield Town,  will be up against Sean Gregan who will manage the opposing team made up of Latics backroom staff.

Bidding for places in the fans' team kicks off at 9pm on April 1st with prices beginning at  £100 for starting spots and £75 for substitutes.

The four lowest successful bids for starting spots will be substituted after 70 minutes.

The price includes a full kit, refreshments and a pay bar.

Closing date for bidding is noon on April 22st and monies must be paid by 3pm that day.
