Latics manager Dave Penney has once again delved into the transfer market to bring in Doncaster striker Lewis Guy on a month's loan.

The 24- year-old Cumbrian's career began with Newcastle United before moving on to Doncaster Rovers, first on loan (2004-2005 season) and then permanently (2005- 2006 season).

Guy has also spent a spell on loan with Hartlepool United this season, playing four games, before returning to the Keepmoat Stadium following injury at the Victoria Ground.
