Over the past four days Trust Oldham members and other fans volunteered to distribute over 8000 leaflets to residents in Failsworth regarding the next stage of consultation on the stadium relocaqtion.

Over 25 fans spent their weekend completing the task and spoke to many people who welcomed the clubs move to Failsworth.

Simon Blitz speaking to the Latics website said, " I would like to thank the Trust and those fans who spent their time delivering the literature. A large amount of money was saved by this goodwill gesture and without their help we would have had to bring in agency workers to do the job at enormous expense. It is this type of voluntary help that shows the true spirit of the club and once again I thank everyone concerned."

The final consultation for residents and fans takes place at the Lancaster Club on Wednesday 2 June from 3pm until 9pm.
