Kieran Lee says Paul Dickov's new-look Latics team fears nobody after yesterday's 3-0 win against Notts County took them to the top of npower League One.

Right-back Lee, who sealed victory with Latics' third goal, explained: "Confidence is high and we believe we can beat anyone. And on our day, I think we will.

"We must look to next week's game at Charlton, which will be a tough match, to keep the run going.

"We will go there believing we can win the game, and hopefully we will do well."

Lee added he is enjoying his football more than at any time in his career.

He explained: "I was enjoying it towards the end of last season, but am doing so even more and I am hoping to progress here.

"You can see we are playing a different style from last season. We are looking to pass the ball and that is why we are doing well.

"It suits us and it is hard for opposing teams to get near us when we play that way.

"We are enjoying our football, though it is serious out on the pitch and everybody is getting behind us and players and fans are united as one which wasn't the case last season."

Lee was also delighted with his goal, only his second for Latics.

He explained that after winning the ball on the half-way line he decided to keep pushing forward after releasing Oumare Tounkara on the right.

"I saw an opportunity to get into the box as we didn't have any strikers there as I broke forward. It was a great ball in and harder to miss than score," he explained
