Manager Paul Dickov was forced to change his winning Latics team for this afternoon's top-of-the-table npower League One cash at Charlton Athletic.

Lewis Alessandra was ruled out through a calf strain so Chris Taylor came in on the left for his first start of the season in  this battle of the top two.

Teenager Djeny Bembo-Leta kept his place up front, even though Warren Feeney had recovered from injury. The Northern Ireland international had to settle for a place on the bench.

New-signing Rodrigue Dikaba was named as one of the seven Latics substitutes.

Charlton were also forced to make one change from the team which won at Leyton Orient in their last league match.

Christian Dailly was missing through suspension so Miguel Llera was drafted into the centre of defence.

The Charlton attack was led by Pawel Abbott, the striker who was a Latics player until earlier this month.
