Real Madrid have their superstar Galacticos and now Latics have their own Galacdickovs who are lighting up npower League One.

And Latics fans will this weekend be able to wear a new Galacdickovs tee shirt as a celebration of Paul Dickov's exciting new-look team.

It all came about after Notts County manager Craig Short made the assertion that his side made Latics look like Real Madrid following his side's 3-0 defeat at Boundary Park.

It was a comment which has since snowballed with a feature in the matchday programme at Charlton entitled 'Galacdickovs Making a Real Impression.'

The article was the topic of conversation on the coach returning from The Valley on Saturday and has also been a popular discussion on the forum OWTB.

On the journey home on Saturday, Latics officials decided to create a special tee shirt to commemorate the 'Galacdickovs' who play at 'Bernableu Park.'

The new tee shirts will be sale at WE ARE LATICS on Friday in time for Saturday's home game against Yeovil.
