Police have released CCTV images of two teenagers they want to speak to in relation to the fire which badly damaged the Corner Flag Suite at Boundary Park.

The youngsters were captured scaling the perimeter fence to gain entry to Latics' ground at 5.15pm yesterday.

Once the fire, which started in the disabled section beneath the Corner Flag Suite, had taken hold they were seen climbing out of the ground.

The first offender is described as white, aged between 14 and 18 years with short dark hair. He was dressed entirely in black.

The second offender is also white, aged between 14 and 18 years with short fair hair. He was wearing a blue tee shirt and blue three-quarter length shorts.

Detective Constable Stewart Lindsay, who is based at Oldham CID, said: "While nobody was in the ground at the time, whoever lit this fire was reckless and had no regard for the fans whose enjoyment of the football will be ruined by their actions.

"I'd ask people to take a good look at these images and if you recognise either of these people, please contact me."
