Fans of all ages are invited to show off their 'keepy uppys skills' at Boundary Park before Saturday's home game against Yeovil.

They can do so outside the Main Stand as Latics lend their support to the new Oxfam 'Don't Drop The Ball On Aid' video campaign.

The campaign is collecting video clips of people showing off their keepy uppys skills. These clips will be part of a massive global video petition and will be shown in a visual display at the UN's Millennium Development Goals summit in New York, on September 20th.

Pete Beeley, Oxfam Campaigner, said: "Whether you are a Yeovil or Latics fan, come along on Saturday and be part of a fun campaign which is uniting football fans from all over the world against poverty".

Throughout the summer Oxfam have been hosting keepy uppys events across the country in city centres, festivals and at World Cup screenings.

With the start of the new season they have also been working with the region's football clubs with the likes of Blackburn, Wigan, Blackpool and Crewe Alexandra who have all pledged their support.

Beeley added: "Millions of children around the world are still waiting for an education, thousands of women every day still die in childbirth, the poorest people in the world can't wait any longer.

"Word leaders must not drop the ball on aid for development as far too many lives would be at risk if that happened!

"Come and see us on Saturday, have fun with your favourite club and score against poverty!"
