Latics continue to look to the future with their latest venture the opening of a new development centre at Failsworth Soccer Centre.

It will be for under-seven, eight and nines and the trials, which begin next Monday, are open to players entering years two, three and four at school.

The development centre will run each Monday between 4.30pm and 6pm and the trials will take place over a four-week period.

That will enable the coaching staff to assess the players and choose a development squad based on both ability and attitude.
