Jason Jarrett, Kirk Millar and Josh Ollerenshaw (pictured) are recalled to Latics' squad for tonight's Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie against Shrewsbury Town at Boundary Park.

They are named in an 18-man party as Warren Feeney, Paul Gerrard and Rod McDonald miss out.

Jarrett, who was suspended on Saturday after his dismissal at Charlton, provides added central-defensive options which is why teenager McDonald, called into the squad on Saturday, loses his place.

Ollerenshaw provides goalkeeping cover as Gerrard stands down due to a conflict of interest as he is goalkeeping coach for both Latics and Shrewsbury. Gerrard will play no active part in tonight's game.

Millar is recalled in place of Feeney who is away in international duty with Northern Ireland.
