The major deal involved Rochdale's Craig Dawson transfer to Premier League West Brom for an undisclosed fee.

Dawson, who had a trial with Latics before joining Dale, was then immediately loaned back to Dale for the remainder of the season.

Alan Sheehan (pictured), who had a loan spell with Latics last season, has completed a free-transfer move to Swindon Town.

Carlisle's free-scoring defender Ian Harte, once of Leeds, has joined Championship club Reading for an undisclosed sum.
