DJ Bembo and Joe Jacobson were both injured in Latics reserve team's 4-0 win at Wrexham in the totesport.com League.

Bembo limped off midway through the opening half after receiving lengthy treatment following a kick to his right knee.

The 18-year-old was walking far more freely at the end of the game and said the injury appears nowhere near as bad as he initially feared.

Jacobson did not re-appear for the second half after complaining of a slight groin-muscle problem.

Coach Lee Duxbury said both players will be assessed by Latics' medical staff today, but the injuries don't appear serious.
