RESERVE Team Coach Lee Duxbury is looking for another positive showing tonight as his side look to extend their unbeaten run to thirteen games.

Latics' second string take on Accrington Stanley at the Fraser Eagle Stadium (KO 1900), and Dux has called on his side to bounce back following two home draws against Tranmere and Blackpool.  However, the ex-Latics skipper is aware that, despite losing 4-1 at Boundary Park earlier in the season, Stanley will provide a stiff test.

Also, Duxbury - looking to emulate previous reserve boss John Sheridan by winning the league - looks set to blood some of the club's youngsters alongside some more familiar faces:

"They turned in a good performance against us at Boundary Park, and I remember shouting and bawling at the lads at half time", Duxbury revealed.  "We were poor, but we improved after the break and eventually won four-one.

"Some of the younger players will be on the bench tonight.  At the end of the day the reserves are there to keep first-team lads who haven't been getting regular games fit, while bringing the young kids through, and giving them a taste of reserve team football against men instead of boys.

"A few of the players have been doing well, so I'll put them in with the reserve team squad and give them a chance."
