Lee Duxbury's boys lost in the final of the totesport.com League Cup against Leicester City last night.

The game, played at the Quorn FC ground, was a competitive affair played on a hard surface which made the lively.

Leicester always looked the more dangerous side and it was no surprise when they took the lead half way through the first half.

With both Manager Paul Dickov and Assistant Gerry Tatggart watching, Latics were not in the mood for settling for second best and Chris Taylor equalized in the second period but Leicester hit back with a stylish goal to settle the affair and claim the trophy.
