The glittering 2009 Awards Dinner will be held at Hotel Smokies Park, Ashton Road, Oldham, on Tuesday, April 28 - and tickets are on sale now!

This annual event is a must-see as supporters and businesses who attended last year will testify.

Then, Mark Allott (pictured) swept the board, but who will grab the limelight this time?  Gongs are up for grabs in five categories.

As ever the Player of the Season award provides the centrepiece, while the squad will also vote for the best of their peers for Players' Player.

The club's outstanding young player will receive the Colin Shaw Memorial Trophy for Young Player of the Year, while we'll also be presenting the Goal of the Season award.

And there's a new award for this year as we take a light-hearted look back for the award no-one wants - the Clanger of the Year!

Guests will enjoy a four-course meal and entertainment from manager Joe Royle, compere Gordon Lawton and Magic Circle Comedy Magician of the Year, John Archer.

Fans will be able to mix freely with the players and management as the entire management, coaching and playing staff will be in attendance.

Tickets are on sale now priced at £30+VAT (£34.50 inc. VAT) each and are available from the Latics Club Shop or by contacting Mike Platt on 0871 226 1691 (or email mike.platt@oldhamathletic.co.uk).

It's an evening not be missed, so get your tickets now as numbers are limited.  Eligible kit and player sponsors will receive their invites shortly.
