ABOUT TRUST OLDHAM
Trust Oldham provides fans of the club with a vital voice as well as raising much-needed funds.
As the official Supporters' Trust of Oldham Athletic, Trust Oldham provide representation for all members through an elected Board of Directors, headed by Barry Owen. Elected by supporters, Mr Owen became a member of the Club's main Board after the organisation purchased a 3% share in the Club.
Established in summer 2003, the Trust played an important role in ensuring the Club's survival prior to the takeover by the current owners in November of that year, and have since organised a number of fund-raising events, including a testimonial match for fans' favourite David Eyres.
The Trust's most recent purchase came in April 2007, when they supplied the groundstaff with a brand-new tractor.
Like all supporters' trusts, Trust Oldham relies on its membership to continue functioning, and is always looking for new supporters. Directors and those at the head of the Trust are elected democratically and report directly to the main body of members to ensure everyone can have their say.
