WREXHAM U18 2-2 LATICS U18
Wrexham U18 2-2 Oldham Athletic U18

The game was played in awkward windy conditions, which it made it difficult to play good football.
However, both teams did adapt well. Latics started poorly conceding a goal within 3 minutes of the start. Sloppy defending led to Wrexham scoring at the far post.
The game then entered a period where neither team could take control, then Latics improved their passing game, creating a number of changes, one of which schoolboy Tom Eaves scored with a fine header.
At this time, KC Owen was causing lots of problems for Wrexham with his pace and crossing ability.
As half time approached the same combination almost produced a carbon copy goal, this time with Eaves hitting the post.
The second half was a even handed affair, with both teams exchanging chances, but it was Latics that took the lead after Chris Rowney's corner from the right was bravely headed in by Aaron Chalmers at the near post.
Latics looked set to win the game, but Wrexham put them under tremendous pressure, which ended with a goal scored with the last kick of the game.
Latics were disappointed to concede so late on, but with a squad containing three U15 players due to injuries, this was an excellent result.
