Q. What football team do you support?

A. I'm an Oldham Athletic fan and as a child had a season ticket in the Lookers for many years.

 

Q. What do you like to do in your spare time? 

A. Having two young children I spend the vast majority of my time away from work with my family. Where possible I try and get outside as much as we can, enjoying the local countryside and parks that are within/surround Oldham.

 

Q. Tell us one interesting fact about yourself.

A. A weird one, but I can touch my nose with my tongue.

 

Q. What is your favourite part of your job/working for OACT?

A. I enjoy working for an organisation that makes a difference, across the various initiatives we have the ability to provide positive opportunities for our local community and it is humbling to see the effect our work has. I also love the interaction with various people/groups that this job provides, I enjoy meeting new people and developing ways in which we can work together for the benefit of the borough.

A. Enjoy being part of the wider community and the varied work they do, and the fantastic people I work with!

Fundraising and Commercial Manager

Q. What football team do you support?

A. Always had a soft spot for Latics after helping the Club through a difficult time in 2003-2004.  But have to confess, I'm a life-long Supporter and Season Ticket Holder at Stockport County. 

Q. What do you like to do in your spare time? 

A. Watch football and support my Son, who is an under 18s international Rugby Union Player.

Q. Tell us one interesting fact about yourself.

A. I used to be County Champion at Athletics for 800 metres. You'd never guess it now!

 

Q. What is your favourite part of your job/working for OACT?

A. I have only just started but it will be the camaraderie with other OACT members within the Team and embarking on this exciting journey to bring in new revenue streams.

A. Oldham Athletic ... Although my family raised me as a Chelsea fan! 

 

Q. What do you like to do in your spare time? 

A. I coach at Oldham Athletic Girls & Women, and i have done for 6 years now! I also like to spend time with family and friends, play some FIFA on the PS5 and develop my skills in marketing, media and communications.

A. I have worked with a few famous football figures including Ellen White, Mike Phelan and Tim Krul

 

Q. What is your favourite part of your job/working for OACT?

A. I love sharing the amazing work we do to the wider world! In my role, its my responsibility to ensure all our great work is captured and shared on our socials and website so it doesnt go unnoticed. I also love working with all the OACT team, as well as the club staff and players!

A. The positive environment it has and creates, the staff are welcoming, friendly and there is a brilliant cohesive feel to it.

A. I have been coaching/ teaching PE for 15 years (this makes me feel old!).

A. Inspiring young people through sport. Also working alongside my fantastic colleagues.

A. When I was 18, I lived in Texas for a year.

A. Seeing the children progress and grow in confidence through the use of sport and PE.

A.Once fell off a chair at Wembley trying to catch Liam Dickinson's boot at the 2008 play-off final, it hurt a lot but at least I got it!!

A.I love meeting new people whether that's within the club or in schools. Also love the coaching as it's great to see how everyone develops and has fun due to our coaching.

A. Seeing the smiles on children's faces  as we provide them with the best quality coaching, community engagement, and fun sessions on a daily basis, and knowing that we're making a real difference in the community.

Supporter Engagement Assistants

Joe supports the media with our mascots on each matchday ensuring they have lifelong memories to take away from the experience with us on the day. 

 

Shannon is based in the Junior Latics Lounge on matchdays and helps serve in the tuck shop.

 

Will is based in the Junior Latics Lounge on Matchdays as well as supporting our play on the pitch initiative.
