Premier League Charitable Fund

The Premier League Charitable Fund creates and supports activities that inspire young people to achieve their potential and positively impact their communities.

The National League Trust

The National League Trust supports community programmes at clubs who are members of the three divisions of the National League. This support comes in the form of grant aid and development advice. Our aim is to encourage every National League club to become involved in their community. Projects range from music, dance and other arts activities, encouraging volunteering, work with young people not in education or training (NEETs), helping disability groups to play sport, and creating educational initiatives for both adult and children – including literacy and numeracy programmes. There has been work with isolated community groups, green projects, information about healthy eating and lifestyle, and working in partnership with schools to deliver football coaching and other initiatives.

Oldham Athletic Football Club

Oldham Athletic Football Club is a professional football club in Oldham, Greater Manchester based at their home ground Boundary Park. Known as “Latics” Oldham traditionally play in blue and are easily recognisable by their owl perched on a ball logo. OAFC also run a charitable organisation the OACT (Oldham Athletic Community Trust) that use the power of football in partnership with its local community to provide positive opportunities through sport to inspire and reward their local community.


The Professional Footballers Association is the union for all current and former footballers and scholars in the Premier League, the FA Women’s Super League and the English Football Leagues. We believe in the unifying power of football in society, and are committed to empowering footballers to recognise their value as people, not just players.

Oldham Council

Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council is the local authority for Oldham in Greater Manchester and supplies most local government services in Oldham. It is currently controlled by the Labour Party, made up of 60 councillors, and led by Councillor Arooj Shah.

Guiness Housing

Guiness Housing are a customer service organisation that supply homes to tenants and leaseholders within 125 local authority areas across England. Their aim is to supply high quality homes and a great service to their customers.

Mental Health Football

Mental Health Football raises awareness on how relevant mental health is to everyone in sport, even at the elite level. The aim is to make coaches and teammates confident and comfortable about talking about mental health problems, in the same way that people discuss physical injuries.

Full Circle NW CIC

FullCircle NW CIC is a non-profit organisation based in Oldham. As a community interest company, they offer a range of services through their Youth clubs in Sholver and Chadderton to support and provide opportunities for people to be involved with and improve their local area. They provide a range of accessible provision aimed at children and young people within their own communities.


Team REEL are a community interest company based in Oldham that provide activities, experiences, personal development and learning to engage, encourage and empower people to find their purposeful life. They aim to reduce the barriers to education, training, volunteering and employment.

Oldham Pledge

The Oldham Pledge provides and promotes opportunities for children and young people to develop key character traits, so that they are school ready, life ready and work ready. The Oldham Pledge is a key school led action that the Oldham Education Partnership is supporting, and it highlights the importance of supporting every child grow into well rounded confident citizens who can succeed as individuals and contribute to their community.

Oldham School Sport

Oldham School Sport is the home of PE and School Sport in Oldham and is a one stop shop for schools to book onto school competitions and CPD courses.

Action Together

Action Together CIO is the infrastructure organisation for the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise sector in Oldham, Rochdale and Tameside. They help to connect people with what's happening in their community, develop community ideas into action, strengthen local organisations, and strategic influence for the charity and voluntary sector.

Sport England

Sport England are an arms-length body of government responsible for growing and developing grassroots sports and getting more people active across England. They are working to keep movement, sport and physical activity central to the lives of everyone through a combination of National Lottery funding and grant-in-aid regardless of who you are.

National Lottery

The National Lottery games create over 9 million winners every week and have so far given away over £80 billion in prizes. Their projects help to build local communities, power sports teams, save the environment, empower the elderly and unlock young potential.

Manchester FA

The Manchester Football Association are the home of grassroots football in Greater Manchester. They are responsible for efficiently governing and developing the local game and strive to positively influence participation for all in football regardless of age, ability, sex, sexual orientation, race, religion and socio-economic status.

Postcode Lottery

The People’s Postcode Lottery is a subscription-based competition where lucky winners can win huge prizes and 33% of the ticket prices go to charity. Players pay £10 a month and since 2005, have raised over £850 million for good causes and charities such as Alzheimer’s Society and WaterAid.
