Fundraising Update from Oldham Athletic Community Trust!
It has now been three months since Oldham Athletic Community Trust introduced the innovative role of Fundraising & Commercial Manager to the Team. Here we catch up with Adrian around his work during the initial 3 months and look ahead to the future opportunities:
'It’s been a whirlwind few weeks, but the engagement with the proactive Oldham Businesses community has given me plenty optimism for collaboration. I have taken real pleasure in getting out and about across the Borough to meet with some amazing local businesses.
One of my first tasks was to re-launch the “The Friends Of OACT” initiative, which now boasts fourteen founding Friends and counting. “Friends Of” was created to give partners who give OACT a helping hand, a relatively low-cost solution and tangible return on investment. There’s a range of benefits from marketing, ticketing, business development to social impact and charity recognition. In addition we now have a commercial brochure available to view, which provides further information on the opportunities available to businesses and highlights the wide range of community based delivery that we undertake.
The release of the brochure coincided with the OACT annual impact report being published, you can see for yourself HERE the impact that our community work has.
Through the support of our business community we can only increase this impact for the coming 12 months ahead and build on the solid foundations already in place.
There are a range of other ways that local businesses or philanthropic individuals can work with us to keep delivering benefits to the people of Oldham and community it serves. The picture illustrates the new brochure listing portfolio of options that are available. It can be obtained from Adrian also.

Lastly, I am busy looking at holding showcase events to further enhance the awareness and PR of Oldham Athletic Community Trust. I hope to bring further updates on this area in my next update so please keep an eye out.
