Oldham Athletic Community Trust are back at Boundary Park with exciting community matchday engagement for the first league game at home of 2024!

This evening’s fixture will be highlighting the Active Through Football project which is ran across Oldham in association with Oldham Council. Oldham Athletic Community Trust is delighted to be a key partner organisation in the project and support in projects/initiatives and sessions held in the town.
What is Active Through Football?
Active Through Football is our opportunity to learn from doing things differently. By identifying and working with key target audiences, who face some of the greatest inequalities to being physically active, we want to increase activity levels and create sustained behaviour change using a 'Place-based approach.'
The programme brings key local stakeholders together as a consortium to create and deliver a plan for their local area or 'Place'. The plans will be based predominately on activating key settings through the delivery of recreational and informal small-sided football activity and developed through community engagement.
In partnership with Oldham Athletic Community Trust, ATF and OACT run a number of sessions including the Women’s Just Play session, Over 30’s Just Play and Walking Football!

Over the next two games, we welcome a number of VIP guests as our Matchday Mascots!
Frank, Marek, Noah and Amelia join us on the 23rd when we host Barnet at Boundary Park.

- Flagbearers
Flagbearers are back for 2024 as we welcome Oldham Community FC U8s to the pitch this week to welcome the teams out before kick off.
Our Flagbearer initiative started at the start of the 2023/24 season and we are fully booked for every home game!
