Oldham Athletic is pleased to confirm that in support of BBC Radio Manchester, we will be a donation point for the BBC’s Kit Out the Nation campaign.

Kit Out the Nation is a month-long Make a Difference campaign which aims to collect and re-distribute unwanted or good condition sports kit to children and teenagers in England who need it.

A report published by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee in July showed that more than 100,000 fewer children were getting in the recommended level of activity in 2020 than in 2019.

However, you can help to make a difference by recycling any unwanted sports kit that could be the reason why some children aren’t taking part in enough activity.

All we are asking is that anytime up until Saturday 2nd October, please donate any unwanted kit that is in good condition to Oldham Athletic Community Trust during opening hours, and we will help it to find it a new home!

To arrange a drop off time, please email enquiries@oact.org.uk

Thank you for your support!
