Oldham Athletic Community Trust are delighted to confirm we have hired two new employees on the Kickstart scheme!
Oldham Athletic Community trust are happy to introduce Reece Mundy (Media Assistant) and Janaid Hussain (Assistant Community Coach) will be joining our team through the Kickstart scheme.
The Kickstart Scheme offers six-month additional jobs for young people aged 16 to 24 years old who are currently claiming Universal Credit and are at risk of long-term unemployment. Funded by the Government, the scheme is in place to help young people aged between 16-24 develop transferable skills that are aimed at increasing their chances of sustained long-term employment.
Thousands of employers across the private, public and not-for-profit sectors, have already applied for funding, which covers 100% of the National Minimum Wage (or the National Living Wage depending on the age of the participant) for 25 hours per week for a total of 6 months.

Reece will be supporting Media & Communications Executive Callum Irving promoting and raising awareness of the great community work we offer across Oldham. Janaid will be assisting our Community Engagement Lead Peter Boase in the delivery of sessions across Oldham. Such as our walking football and Premier League kicks.
