Matchday Activities 2022/23

Our Team Of The Week at Boundary Park is back!

We look forward to welcoming schools and clubs to play on the pitch at Boundary Park this season.

Our family activities for the 2022/23 season are still yet to be confirmed.

Oldham Athletic Community Trust (OACT), in partnership with Oldham Athletic Football Club, are delighted to announce that an additional number of matchday activity packs and sensory packs are available for the rest of the 21/22 season.

Back in 2018 the matchday sensory packs were first launched, receiving worldwide media coverage for being one of the first EFL Clubs to offer this scheme.

The packs have been designed for supporters, particularly those with Autism, who attend matches to make the matchday experience more accessible, comfortable, and enjoyable.

Matchday sensory packs will include:

  • Oldham Athletic branded medal.
  • Autism Awareness card, which can be shown to matchday staff and stewards to ask for assistance when entering the ground and moving around.
  • A map of the Boundary Park stadium.
  • Noise-cancelling headphones.
  • Fidget popper.

Alongside the offer of the sensory pack there is also the option to order a activity pack, which aims to enhance the matchday experience for junior supporters. These packs are aimed at children aged 11 and under.

Matchday activity packs will have:

  • A pack of felt tips.
  • Oldham Athletic themed activity booklet.
  • Oldham Athletic branded medal.

Martin Vose, OACT Head Of Community, commented: "Alongside Oldham Athletic Football Club, we are delighted to be able to offer out the matchday packs to Latics fans.

"Being inclusive is one of our three Community Trust values and this initiative is another example of how we are working hard to meet the needs of those within our local community of Oldham.

With these packs it is our aim to make the Oldham Athletic matchday a more inclusive and enjoyable experience."

To order, please email enquiries@oact.org.uk, please note that there are a limited number of packs available, which will be issued on a first come, first served basis. OACT would therefore like to inform supporters that not all enquiries will result in receiving a pack due to this fact.

Oldham Athletic have a dedicated space inside Boundary Park for families based in the Family Stand attached to the Jimmy Frizzell Stand (Rochdale Road End).

In the Juniors Latics Lounge there is a range of activities on each matchday (excluding Tuesday nights) that are advertised in advance through the Oldham Athletic Community Trust, along with FIFA, Wii Games/Just Dance, Tablets, board games and the chance to meet the Youth Team players.

The Tuck Shop has plenty of treats available to purchase such as chocolates, sweets and a variety of drinks as well as healthy snacks (excluding Tuesday nights).

During the season there are lots of activities on offer in Junior Latics Lounge, all of which are free of charge, so please come and join in the fun! The stand opens from 2pm.

* Please note - The Junior Latics Lounge will return on the 2nd of October 2021
