Woodlands visit Boundary Park to take part in our 'Navigate' Initiative!

Oldham Athletic Community Trust School Partner Woodlands primary school visited Boundary to participate in 'Navigate'. The initiative involves maths, OAA, teamwork, leadership, tactics & communication skills!

The aim of the task is to answer the maths equations set out at the start, where the answers will lead to a seat number which will contain a letter. When the letters are found the children then have to figure out what the letters spell!

The year 5 pupils from Woodlands completed 'Navigate' in 40 minutes, with both teams finding all the letters and spelling out 'Oldham Athletic'

After completing 'Navigate', the children visited the 'Junior Latics Lounge', which reopens on matchdays from the 2nd of Ocotber 2021, and watched a pre recorded Q&A session with Oldham Athletic player Jack Stobbs!

The school emailed the pupils questions for Jack earlier this week and he took the time to answer them ahead of their visit to Boundary Park.

After listening to Jack’s answers, the children of Woodlands Primary school where set a quiz by Jack Stobbs which had different football questions for the children to try and answer.

The children were delighted to visit the home of Oldham Athletic to take part in Navigate and watch the content from Jack Stobbs, ending their visit with a game on the brand new FIFA 22 in the Junior Latics Lounge!

If your school are interested in booking a slot on our 'Navigate' initiaitve, please email emily.ashworth@oact.org.uk
