U11 National league trust tournament.
This month we hosted the National league trusts North West under 11 boys and girls tournament where we welcomed teams from Fylde, Altrincham, Rochdale, Chorley, Curzon Ashton and of course Oldham Athletic.
A Huge congratulations to St Herbert’s who were representing us at the tournament and did everyone proud coming home with the trophy and being crowned champions of the day!!

CPD
This month we paid a visit to St Pauls primary school where we hosted a CPD session with the teachers at the school. The aim was to look into attacking and defending in P.E, and we even got the staff engaged in some invasion games!!
We also visited the teachers at Blackshaw Lane primary school where we did a CPD workshop where the teachers planned their own attacking and defending drills and then put them into practice!!

Skill centre

Over 30s just play session
This month the participants from our OACT over 30s just pay session came together to play their first 11 a side game against Men United. The aim of the friendly was to raise as much money as possible for charity!!!

Secondary school Provision
This month as a part of our on going partnership with Crompton House school we did a session covering life skills with the support of Fuel CrossFit in Delph. The session was
working on the fundamentals of Olympic Lifting as well as looking in depth at the benefits for overall Physical Health.

Match day Experience
This month we welcomed our OACT mascots and flag bearers for our home games against Boreham Wood and Kidderminster creating memories to last a life time and bringing our players good luck!!!
We also welcomed the players from St Herbert’s school who won the National league trust tournament onto the pitch at half time in the home game vs Kidderminster to show their trophy to the record attendance crowd!!

PL Primary stars
This month we hosted a Year 5&6 football tournament where welcomed a number of schools from the local area to get involved. The tournament was a great opportunity to say a huge congratulations to our chairman Frank Rothwell on completing his Atlantic challenge and some amazing participants made some cards to welcome him home!!!

Player Visits
This month some of the Oldham athletic players have been busy out in the community we started off with Liam Hogan and Dan Gardner who paid a visit too Horton Mill Primary School where they answered all the questions the great students had as well as taking some photographs and having lots of fun!!
We also had a visit from Nathan Sheron, Matt Hudson and Andrew Dallas to our February soccer camp where they joined in with some of the football, took photos with each group as well as hosting the raffle for all of the participants.

February soccer camp
We have hosted our half term soccer camp this month where we have been able to engage with over 100 different children across two sites. The camp has had a record number of participants, we hope everyone has had a great time creating memories to last a lifetime!!!
