#PLPrimaryStars Education Activation

To start the year we paid a visit to Woodlands Primary where we delivered an education activation session with 12 teachers focusing on delivering gymnastics effectively across both KS1 & KS2.

Player Visits

We kickstarted our 2024 player visits with Hallam Hope and Will Sutton making a visit to Crompton house where they had a fantastic time engaging with all pupils and answering any questions they had. The players hosted around 300 year 7 students makiing this one of the biggest visits we have ever hosted at a school!

This was followed by Josh Lundstram, Tom Conlon and Brendan Dickenson also paid a visit too Canon Burrows where they hosted a q&a with all age groups at the school. Check out the highlights below.

Magnus Norman and Joe Nuttall were also out and about this month when they paid a visit too FirBank School answering all questions that the pupils had and putting lots of smiles on faces!

Hear Us Roar Tournament.

This month we hosted a year 3&4 girls only football tournament where we welcomed pupils from 9 local schools to take part.

There was some great football on show and lots of fun and smiles had throughout the day! Hear Us Roar is our way of encouraging and empowering girls to particpate in football.

Secondary School Provision

As part of our ongoing partnership with Crompton House, We have covered life skills with the support of Fuel Crossfit Delph. Students used different strategies to overcome barriers and obstacles whilst learning new skills and being physically active! We had a great time and invited the participants down to Oldham Athletic vs Barnet fixture as we continue to build our partnership with the school.

Friends of OACT

This month we unveiled our brand new 'Friends Of' wall located in the OACT Family stand at boundary park!

Oldham Athletic Community Trust (OACT) recently re-launched our ‘Friends Of ’ scheme to build and create relationships with local organisations.

OACT are a registered charity and engage with an estimated 55,000 people per season across an average of 210 sessions per week, supporting people of all ages within the local community.

Matchday Experience

This month we welcomed a number of OAFC Junior Supporters at Boundary Park as our mascots and flag bearers for our Home games against Barnet & Woking!
