Our Women’s Just Play session won the Manchester FA Lioness Award this month!

We are so proud of everyone involved with the session and are delighted to see the session recognised with an award to celebrate its success in empowering women to play football, whether that is starting their football journey or just getting out the house being active every tuesday.

For more details on the session, email or head to our community page and read more HERE

Smart Energy

We’ve teamed up with The EFL Trust and Smart Energy to help households within the communities we support understand how smart meters could help them better manage their energy bills and help them save money, especially over an upcoming tough winter period.

To support with this, we visited the CHAI Ladies project in support with ATF Oldham to speak to their participants about Smart Meters, with the help of leaflets in Urdu and Hindi.

#PLPrimaryStars Education Activations - OAFC Player Visits.

We have had a busy month with our school visits returning once again with Ben Tollitt and Nathan Sheron visiting Royton Hall Primary School to get us kickstarted. We also had Mike Fondop and Shaun Hobson visit Whitegate End, Charlie Raglan and Matt Hudson visitng Willowpark and Will Sutton and Hallam Hope heading over to Woodlands!

Thank you to all the players for taking time out their days to speak to children at our schools and helping them discuss projects they are focussed on, adding relevance to being a footballer and their careers.
