Why Partner with Latics

Sculpted by a range of stakeholders with a strong affiliation to the club and under the guidance of Director, Kevin Roberts, our Purpose defines the current Oldham Athletic.

By ensuring the ultimate focus of winning football matches underpins all operational areas of the club, the Purpose incorporates a dynamic blend of values and characteristics that mould our future vision for achieving success.

As a club, the continuous improvement which we strive for aids in adhering to our beliefs, demonstrating to supporters, connected businesses and most importantly the community.

We are hugely proud to say that we are all Oldham: led by a board consisting of local people and energised by a fanbase which is the heartbeat of the club, whilst crucially providing the bedrock of the local community and business network.

Leading a proper, positive, sustainable change to the town of Oldham.

Our Dream

Oldham Athletic is a club on the rise, a famous football brand with strong values, deep community ties, a passionate fan base and a fast growing, actively engaged social media audience.

With a social media strategy that has led to increased  exposure at its fastest pace in recent years, the club now boasts the largest digital presence of any club in the lower leagues of the EFL.

In addition to this, the club’s match-going attendance and support continues to grow, boasting nearly 30 year high in average match attendances, showing the potential to align your brand or company in front of an engaged audience.

As part of the launch for our 2023/24 front of shirt sponsors, RRG Group, we took advantage of the unique situation of tearing up the Boundary Park turf before the extensive groundwork and installation of a new playing surface, which was made possible through the investment by Oldham Council.

This activation package saw four vehicles from RRG’s stock take to the Boundary Park turf for a distinctive partnership launch. Creating an exciting visual of ‘car football’ that saw Club Chairman, Frank, alongside his wife, Judith, partake in the postseason announcement.

In March 2025, the SportsTown Oldham project was announced as a major £5 million investment has been unveiled to kickstart an ambitious and transformative £70 million sports, education, health and wellbeing campus at Boundary Park.

SportsTown will deliver state-of-the-art sporting, health and educational facilities, transforming opportunities for local people and laying the foundations for a new era for sport in the borough. Also aiming to support local health and well-being by providing essential services and much-needed additional facilities on-site.

The cash boost comes from the Government’s Community Regeneration Fund and builds on £1 million previously invested by Oldham Council, which funded a new playing surface at Boundary Park, securing a permanent home for Oldham RLFC and opening up high-quality facilities to the wider community.

By harnessing the power of sport, health, wellness, business and education we are moving forwards by creating a unique education opportunity for the young people of Greater Manchester and beyond.
