MATCH PREVIEW: Plymouth Argyle vs. Oldham Athletic

22 December 2017

Oldham Athletic make the long journey to Plymouth Argyle tomorrow afternoon in Sky Bet League One.

Latics head into the game on the back of two wins and one draw in all competitions.

A win against Bradford City in the Checkatrade Trophy was followed up with an emphatic win against Northampton Town in the league.

Jack Byrne netted twice and further goals from Obadeyi, Gevaro Nepomuceno and Craig Davies secured Latics three points against the Cobblers.

Last weekend, a late goal from striker Eoin Doyle secured a point against Doncaster Rovers.

Plymouth come into the game in the relegation spots. They currently sit 22nd and have picked up 21 points from their 22 games so far this season.

They are currently unbeaten in two games which have seen them move off the foot of the table.

A victory for Latics tomorrow could take them into the top half of the table.

Athletic head into the game on the back of two wins in all competitions.

Manager Richie Wellens has a full strength squad to choose from tomorrow afternoon.

Sky Bet have listed Athletic as favourites for tomorrow’s match at 23/20 with the visitors 9/4 to win.
