Speed merchant completes loan moveLatics have signed striker Jordan Slew from Blackburn Rovers on a six-month loan.
The 19-year-old is rated very highly by the Ewood Park club as proved when they paid Sheffield United a £1million transfer fee last summer.
Latics have come up against Slew before playing for the Blades for whom he made 14 appearances (nine starts and three as a substitute) and scored three goals.
Slew's opportunities were restricted as he made two substitute appearances.
He was loaned to npower League One rivals Stevenage between January and April for whom he played nine matches.
