Reserves lose at Burnley
Latics reserves lost 2-0 at Burnley this afternoon in a behind-closed doors friendly.The windy conditions at the Clarets' Gawthorpe training ground ruined the match as a spectacle.
It was still a good workout for Latics' squad players while a number of trialists and youngsters were also given a run out.
Matt Smith (pictured) came closest to scoring for Latics hitting the crossbar with a header from a corner and also having a couple of other chances.
Carl Winchester, Connor Brown and Smith were Latics' stand-out performers.
